CISCE to declare ICSE, ISC Semester 1 Result 2021 – 2022 Soon at cisce.org – 5 Things You Should Know

Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is soon going to release the ICSE and ISC Semester 1 2021-22 results. The results will be announced on the official website cisce.org. Although the exact date is not known, several news reports are claiming that the semester 1 results will be announced in the next few days.

This year, the CISCE Class 10 and 12 board exam pattern has undergone a major revamp; similar to the one implemented by CBSE. Moreover, due to the objective nature of semester 1 exams, students are ardently waiting for the results to come out. While waiting for the announcement, students must know these 5 crucial points –

#1 No Merit List for This Semester

While announcing the CISCE Semester 1 result for both ICSE and ISC students, the central education board will not be releasing a merit list. Students will only know their marks in each subject without any overall rank or position obtained. A merit list will be released at a later stage, after the conduction of the CISCE Semester 2 exams.

#2 Both Semesters Will Be Considered for Final Result

Evidently, CISCE will be taking into account both Semester 1 and 2 marks while curating the ICSE and ISC 2021-22 final result. Hence, it is important to perform well in both exams in order to acquire a good percentage at the final stage.

#3 Pass/Fail Status To Be Announced After Semester 2

In addition to the final result, CISCE will be providing passing certificates only after the conduction of ICSE and ICS Semester 2 board exams. Passing certificates will only be awarded to those candidates who have successfully cleared both semesters. However, they will come to know their pass/fail status only after the theory-based board exams slated for the March-April 2022 period.

#4 Result Can Be Checked Via SMS

Both ISC and ICSE students will also be able to check their semester 1 results via SMS. All they have to do is type in their 7-digit unique ID and send the message to the official number 09248082883. Students shall receive their results as a revert or response to this message.

#5 Checking Results on cisce.org

Of course, CISCE will be announcing the ISC and ICSE results on the official website cisce.org. To check their results, students need to key in their details such as 7-digit unique ID, index number and auto-generated code. They are also advised to take a printout of the scorecard for future use or reference.
